Corby Roundabouts 2005 (20th April 2007)

"...a single organising principle based on:

• a directional wedge on each roundabout orientated towards the town centre;

• secondary or displaced planting also on each roundabout as appropriate or necessary in terms of mass or scale or composition;

• extension planting as backdrop to highway signage warning of roundabout approach or subsequent route confirmation.

This single organising principle will need some adjustment on a site-by-site basis to accommodate variations in overall scale of each roundabout and immediate location or built environment. Such adjustments are subject to detail design processes and further discussion..."
